BravoDate is one of the many, many international online dating sites and apps you may stumble across in your search for true love. But just because a dating site exists doesn’t mean it is a good or legit site or offers good and affordable services.
So how does BravoDate stack up? Should you be “brave” and sign up and see what happens? Or should you stay safe, keep your bank manager (aka wallet happy), and rather sign up elsewhere in your search?

What Is BravoDate.com?
BravoDate is an online dating company. When you visit the website, you won’t find any information about who operates BravoDate or when it was established. The About Us Section essentially talks about how we live in the internet age with limitless possibilities and how you can date foreigners at the snap of your fingers. (#notveryoriginal)
While the site has female members from all over the world, the majority of them are from Eastern Europe. In fact, there are way more women on the site than there are men. The ratio is about 30-40% men for 60-70% women.
According to webrate.org, BravoDate belongs to CloudFareNet and the site has a valid SSL certificate. While BravoDate.com states that their website is mobile-friendly, webrate.org doesn’t agree. (Plus, the dating site doesn’t have mobile apps for Android or iOS users.)
Scam-Detector states that the BravoDate domain was registered in 2018 so this is a new dating site (at the time of writing in 2022). It has a close proximity to suspicious websites and only a standard trust rating.
How to Register at BravoDate.com
Similarly to most other dating sites, it’s super easy to register on BravoDate.com.
Simply visit their website, and you’ll find the sign up form in front of you. In the “It’s free to join!” box:
- Choose your gender - male or female (#notinclusive)
- Enter your name
- Enter your birthday - month, day, year
- Fill in your email address
- Choose an 8+ character password
- Click the green box to say you’ve read the T&Cs, Privacy Policy, and more (and honestly, you should check this out for EVERY site before you blindly tick)
- Click the red-orange “REGISTER” button
Once you’ve done this, answer some questions about who you are and who you’d like to meet on the site.

Profile Quality - How Authentic Are the Profiles?
The profiles on BravoDate are quite detailed. You see:
- A profile photo
- A photo gallery
- Name
- Age
- Member’s profile ID
- Location
- About person section with their marital status, occupation, birthday, children, level of English, and more
- A description where the person describes themselves
While some of the profiles seem like they have real ladies on the other end, there are many more profiles that look staged with photoshopped, stolen, and too perfect photos.
Costs and Pricing on BravoDate.com
Like other online dating sites, there are basic services you can access on BravoDate.com for free. If you want to chat with the lady of your dreams, send her a gift, and more, you need to buy credits.
That’s right. BravoDate doesn’t have a monthly subscription free. Instead, you buy credits and then spend these on the services you do want to use.
The disadvantages with the credit system are:
- The services are too pricey compared to a once-off monthly fee that gives you access to most or all of the online dating site’s services
- You literally pay for every single thing, from sending a sticker to receiving a photo or video, except for the free services.
The credits on BravoDate are sold in bundles. Here’s how much you pay for the various bundles of credits:
- 20 credits - US$2.99 (only at this price the first time you buy credits on BravoDate) - US$0.14 per credit
- 20 credits - US$9.99 (the normal price) - US$0.49 per credit
- 50 credits - US$19.99 credits - US$0.39 per credit
- 125 credits - US$44.99 - US$0.35 per credit
- 250 credits - US$69.99 - US$0.27 per credit
- 750 credits - US$149.99 - US$0.19 per credit
The bigger the credit bundle you buy, the cheaper the credit.
You also get 20 credits for free when you sign up so you can see if this is the right dating platform for you.

- Every subsequent email to a person - 30 credits
- Live chat - 2 credits for 1 minute
- Video stream - 4 credits per 1 minute
- Opening videos in profiles - 50 credits per video
- Request personal contact information - 625 credits
- Setting up a real-life date - need to spend at least 3,000 credits on one person to meet them

When I test websites and decide whether we should recommend them, I also factor in what members of BravoDate have to say about the online dating services on third-party review sites like Sitejabber and Trustpilot.
First up: Sitejabber.
BravoDate has claimed their business profile on the review site, and the company generally responds to reviews within 10 hours of posting.
There are 1,050 reviews for BravoDate on Sitejabber. The dating site has 4.47 stars (aka the consumer rating), and there were 88.5% positive reviews in the last year.
The breakdown of the star rating:
- 698 reviewers gave the site 5 stars (akin to excellent)
- 221 reviewers gave it 4 stars (akin to good)
- 62 rated the site with 3 stars (akin to average)
- 9 gave it 2 stars (akin to poor)
- 56 gave it 1 star (akin to bad)
A summary of the reviews:
- A positive review stating the ladies are amazing but the person had no romantic interest in them. The reviewer thinks it’s sad that the ladies are interested in him and don’t have better prospects. (#soundskindadodge)
- A negative review says the site sucks. The credit system is expensive and all the women are super models (a sign that the profiles are fake).
- A positive review only commended the customer service. (#notacompletepicture of the site)

Ok, now time to look at Trustpilot.
BravoDate is a verified company, meaning the dating service has claimed their profile here. They also reply to negative reviews 96% of the time and within less than 24 hours.
With 47 reviews, BravoDate has a poor rating on Trustpilot.
- 17% of reviewers rated the site as excellent
- 19% rated it as good
- No one rated it as average or poor
- 64% rated it as bad
A summary of the BravoDate reviews found on Trustpilot:
- A negative review talks about how the women are fake and are only there to entice you to buy credits and spend money.
- Another negative BravoDate review states that the site is too expensive and how difficult it was to delete their account.
- Yet another review states how BravoDate is a scam and that you should stay away.
- More people complain about bad customer service and having trouble getting their accounts deleted. Kinda like Hotel California - you can check in at any time, but you can never leave.

Our BravoDate Review Verdict: Not Recommended
Time for my final verdict on BravoDate. It’s a no.
I can’t recommend the dating site because:
- There are many fake profiles
- The chats are fake and the only purpose is so you can spend more money and buy credits
- The credit system is quite pricey in comparison to other dating sites
- Poor customer service
- Difficulty getting your account deleted
There are plenty more and better online dating sites where you have a better and real chance to find love.
